Jodi is a licensed therapist and a TN state-approved clinical supervisor for therapists pursuing the LPC/MHSP credential. Throughout her career, her desire has always been to help people lead fulfilling and emotionally healthy lives. In addition to her clinical work, Jodi is an expert contributing writer for verywell mind in the areas of relationships, mental health and personal growth.
Jodi maintains clinical licensure in Tennessee (LPC/MHSP) and Florida (LMHC), and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She provides counseling services in the areas of relationship dynamics, grief, performance, stress and trauma. In clinical supervision, Jodi follows a developmental model to help therapists prepare for licensure, blending case conceptualization, learning of skills and interventions, and self of the therapist work. Jodi approaches clinical care from an attachment framework, using models of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
She is honored to earn the trust of her clients and supervisees and enjoys the relationships she builds with them during their work together. Jodi has been married for 21 years and blessed with two amazing sons. She is an actively practicing Christian and values incorporating faith into her work, while honoring the level to which clients and supervisees prefer to do so.
